Head of School's Blog - 6 December 2024
We now have only two weeks to go until the end of term and Christmas is getting scarily close. However, our focus for the next two weeks is ensuring that high quality learning is taking place.
We have some exciting events happening next week. On Wednesday, we have the Year 8 Parents' Evening from 4-7 pm. If you haven't yet made an appointment to see your child's teacher, please do so through the Arbor App.
On Thursday, we have two events to look forward to. The first being Year 11 Trial Results Day, where Year 11 will receive their trial exam results back and will get a real flavour of what it will be like in the summer. However, this time, they have the opportunity to put right anything that might not have gone so well. On Thursday evening we have our school production of High School Musical. This will be in the Drama Studio and there will be two showings of this performance - 5 & 7 pm. Make sure you get your tickets on Arbor.
We have visitors from our Academy Trust with us on Monday and Tuesday next week. They will be going out and about, looking at all the good work that is going on and seeing how amazing our students are.
A polite reminder that our final day of the term is Friday 20 December and we will return to school on Monday 6 January.
Finally, I would like to congratulate our Hot Chocolate Friday winners who gained their place because either they were top achievement points winners in their year group for the previous week or they have a 100% attendance. Well done to: Bethan, Tehya, Chloe, Olivia, Lexi, Corey, Jaydon, Eloise, Cian and Isaac.
Have a lovely weekend.
